Recarta IT and Smartia partner to accelerate adoption of AI technologies across enterprise clients

Smartia, a leader in industrial AI technologies, today announced a partnership with Recarta IT, a reseller who specialise in the design, deployment, hosting and management of Enterprise Server and Storage environments for business-critical applications and AI workloads, focusing largely in the Banking, Manufacturing, Distribution and Retail sectors. Through the partnership, enterprises can accelerate and scale the development and delivery of advanced AI solutions and deliver next-generation analytics.

The collaboration brings together innovative artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, MAIO and Recarta’s IT infrastructure Integration services, with the aim to accelerate digital transformation. Computing, infrastructure and data are fundamental parts of AI solutions therefore working together will enable customers to simplify their infrastructure and to get more out of their data faster.

Recarta will also work closely with Smartia’s Data Science teams to offer Machine Learning (ML) and Data Analytics to their enterprise clients. Without the expertise of professionals who turn cutting-edge technology into actionable insights, data is less valuable. Today, organisations are opening up to big data and unlocking its power, increasing the value of data scientists who know how to extract actionable insights out of petabytes of data.

Industrial companies recognise that there is huge value in the data they create and store, they now need to start planning on how to capitalise on that value as quickly as possible.  The manufacturing and engineering sectors are one of the largest producers of data and it stems from production equipment, machines, sensors and other operational data sources. There are also complex challenges for IT in manufacturing, driven by the use of robotics, integration of distributed sensor networks, and the need for low-latency communications.  These often create computing demands and challenges that quickly outgrow the capabilities of traditional IT.

Chris Price, CMO at Smartia comments, “Many industrial companies are using dashboards and business intelligence tools to visualise and explore their data. They are now looking to take the next step and enhance their processes with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. However, developing, deploying and running these types of applications requires new IT hardware solutions, especially if it is on-premise. We are excited about working with Recarta, they are one of the UK’s leading IT infrastructure and managed service providers with offices all over the UK, they have established an enviable reputation and one that has fostered successful relationships deep inside Enterprise clients.”

Jack Holt, Director at Recarta comments, “Smartia are implementing AI and machine learning to help industrial organisations leverage the real power of their data to drive exponential efficiencies. Smartia's approach maps to unique business challenges to increase machine uptime, reduce maintenance and increase productivity. Their approach unearths the hidden secrets in your data and operational assets to create accurate predictions and tasks to increase performance.”
